About

  • aboutpicMy name is Dwayne Wachel, I am the owner/operator of A2Z Inspections LLC. I am a full time professional inspector skilled, trained and 100% committed to the business of providing objective, comprehensive and accurate reports. I do not spray pesticides. I am not a contractor who has a “day job” & does home inspections on the side for a few extra bucks, nor do I perform repairs on properties that I have inspected as this would create a conflict of interest & is not permitted per the code of ethics of the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) or ANY Nationally recognized Home Inspection Association. This is very important when choosing an Inspector.
  • My philosophy is that you, the buyer, should have as much information about the house as possible. I use every tool I have to find any problems. I detail everything with clarity (and good grammar!). I inspect hundreds of items in a house. I check everything from the foundation to the roof, and just about everything in between.
  • I have your best interest in mind. The very last thing I want is to have you move into your new home only to find expensive problems. I have no problem telling agents to find another inspection company if they imply that I should “ignore” certain items. If I find it, it goes in the report. Even if the seller says, “Oh, I’m fixing that later today”.
  • I have passed the Texas Professional Real Estate Inspector Examination, and have met the rigorous requirements and carry the title of “Professional Real Estate Inspector”.
  • I strictly comply with the “Code of Ethics” set forth by The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC)
  • I have 25 plus years of experience in both residential and commercial construction.
  • I Use the best tools and latest technology to perform all home inspections.
  • I Use the industry’s leading software to produce a completely comprehensive, understandable, and the most detailed report available in the home inspection industry, complete with digital pictures.
  • My inspection Reports are emailed to you and your realtor (if you want them to have a copy) Additionally, for a small fee reports may also be printed with a color laser-jet printer for the highest possible quality report and put into a high quality transparent cover and sent to you via USPS, be burned onto a compact disc, or faxed to you.
  • I take pride in every property I inspect.
  • I am a graduate of Texas State University, a nationally accredited college, Home Inspection Program.

A little bit about my company A2Z Inspections LLC

Some of the franchise and/or large inspection firms hire Apprentice and Real Estate Inspectors to perform inspections under their Professional license. They pay them by a percentage of the inspection fee. This is an incentive based commission, and it is in the Inspection firm’s and the apprentice or real estate inspectors’ best interest to rush through an inspection so they can do more inspections per day which equals to more pay for both of them. Do you really want someone rushing through the inspection of your multi-thousand dollar investment? Or would you rather have the professional with more experience and education inspect your investment?

A2Z inspections LLC is NOT a franchise or multi-inspector firm that hires Apprentice Inspectors or Real Estate Inspectors. I am a licensed Professional Inspector (TREC# 20925). This means you won’t have to worry about the possibility of the new guy or a nonprofessional showing up to perform your home inspection. I inspect them all myself because buying a home can be both rewarding and risky. Hiring the right home inspector will give you the confidence in your purchase and allow you to buy your home with your eyes wide open.

I became a professional inspector and started A2Z inspections LLC because I truly care about you and your family. I inspect each and every home as if it were for one of my own family members. I really enjoy inspecting homes for young people and first time home buyers. I was there myself at one time and know how important it is to get off to a good start.
